Wayne Torrens, President
Wayne Torrens co-founded Micro Key in 1985. During his tenure   with Micro Key he has directed its growth from a small company to one of the leading providers of security alarm industry software in the world. He is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of Micro Key and is dedicated to employees and customer satisfaction. Torrens is a graduate of Leadership Osceola County, World Class Schools and the Crummer Mini MBA program at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. He also holds a Bachelor in Computer Science.

Christopher R. Vetter, Director of Technical Services
Christopher Vetter provides strategic direction and management for Micro Key’s customer technical support, network administration, installation, and the training of new clients. During his tenure with Micro Key, Vetter has been instrumental in facilitating UL 1981 approval for our applications and played an integral part in the implementation of our training facility. Vetter holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Auburn. 

Luis Ortega, Software Development Director 
Luis Ortega is responsible for overseeing the design and development of our Windows-based products. Well versed in technology, Ortega has experience in GPS development, finger print security systems, and network communications development. Prior to joining Micro Key, Luis worked with CES Wireless Technologies and Advanced Bio System. 

Dorothy Norton, Tech Support Manager 
Dorothy Norton started her career in security at ADT. Working there for 30 years enabled her to learn every aspect of central station operations. Dorothy worked in almost every department and her positions included service dispatcher, central station operator, facilities coordinator, and central station supervisor, among others. By the time Dorothy joined Micro Key Software’s technical support team in 1998, she had a complete understanding for central station operations, which has been invaluable in her efforts to assist Micro Key’s clients. Since her first day on the job, Dorothy has been known for her no-nonsense approach to resolving client issues as quickly as possible.
